Center for The Soul Is Now Open!

The Center for the Soul at The Saint is now available to professionally address the emotional and mental health needs of our congregation.  Staffed by Revs. Sarita Wilson, M.Div. and Benita Livingston, M.Div., The Center will provide a wide range of services - at no cost to active members - for those whose life journeys have presented a challenge in coping and moving forward.  Individual and group sessions will deal with grief, divorce, abuse, rape, family distress, and conflict resolution.  To make a confidential, evening appointment at The Center, call 901-948-3441.  Limited availability also for walk-in visits between worship services on Sundays.

Welcome to Saint Andrew A.M.E., Memphis

Picture of Pastors

Saint Andrew A.M.E. is one of the most unusual churches in the nation, with an enterprise of ministries, funded programs and corporations which far expand the traditional concept of a "church." Praising God through lively, vibrant, and contemporary worship experiences and preaching and teaching of The Word, St. Andrew's mission is to actively demonstrate our faith by our works. A multifaceted, faith-based, social service and community development agency, we holistically focus on Ministering to Memphis - Spirit, Soul, and Body!

Please take the time to explore beyond the home page and learn about our rich history, our worship services, our ministries and our service to the community. Learn how you and your family can become a part of this Christian fellowship. Please visit regularly to stay updated on St. Andrew A.M.E.church announcements and events.

"Let the favor of the Lord be upon us, and establish the work of our hands..." Ps 90:17(ESV)

God has showered "FAVOR" on The Saint!  An anonymous donor has offered $1,000,000 if we raise $500,000.  Most of the money will come from outside sources, but we do want to show our support.  We are asking every member to give at least $10 (over and above tithes and offerings).
