Saint Andrew A.M.E. is one of the most unusual churches in the nation, with an enterprise of ministries, funded programs and corporations which far expand the traditional concept of a "church." Praising God through lively, vibrant, and contemporary worship experiences and preaching and teaching of The Word, St. Andrew's mission is to actively demonstrate our faith by our works. A multifaceted, faith-based, social service and community development agency, we holistically focus on Ministering to Memphis - Spirit, Soul, and Body!
Please take the time to explore beyond the home page and learn about our rich history, our worship services, our ministries and our service to the community. "Let the favor of the Lord be upon us, and establish the work of our hands..." Ps 90:17(ESV)
God has showered "FAVOR" on The Saint! An anonymous donor has offered $1,000,000 if we raise $500,000. Most of the money will come from outside sources, but we do want to show our support. We are asking every member to give at least $10 (over and above tithes and offerings).
6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. 24 A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said. “We know this man is a sinner.” 25 He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!"
